I like walking hills and mountains but as I've had M.E. for the last two and a half years I can only manage small hills when I'm feeling better. My two spaniel bitches, Hollie and Wispa, come with me and snuffle about having a great time. The views are spectacular of Morecambe Bay, the Lakes hills, and the Pennines.   

I love driving through dramatic and beautiful places north and east from where I live (just south of the LakeDistrict). I can't imagine living anywhere else that would give such a diversity of landscapes and natural beauty, with three counties, Lancashire, Yorkshire, and Cumbria all close at hand.   

My passion and therapy is the great Steve Harley and his live concerts, even though I've only been to one so far. The Edinbrough Festival is the next concert I'll see him at (it's in August).
